Professor Shuzhi Sam Ge, Academician of Singapore Academy of Engineering, and his delegation came to Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS) for academic visit on June 22. ZHONG Hua , Deputy Director of ISCAS accompanied and attended the exchanges.

Academician Shuzhi Sam Ge made an academic report entitled “Historical and Futuristic Perspectives of Robotics”, giving a systematical discussion on the development process of intelligent robotics research and its future trend.

ZHONG Hua extended sincere welcome to the visit of Academician Shuzhi Sam Ge and his delegation. He gave an introduction on the development orientation, discipline construction and talent introduction of ISCAS. WU Yanjun, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Center of Intelligent Software Research, introduced the current development status of intelligent robotics and the direction of its further research. The two parties came to an agreement that they would continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in academic field, aiming to jointly promote the accelerated development of the field of intelligent robotics.
